What does it mean for your business when choosing a data connection?

There are many TLA’s (Three Letter Abbreviations) and acronyms in the world of telecoms. One of the most important is SLA or Service Level Agreement. But what is an SLA? And what does it mean for your business?

An SLA or Service Level Agreement is a contractual agreement between a service provider and an end-user guaranteeing performance levels of a contracted service and service restoration time in the event of an MSO (Major Service Outage). If the service provider fails to work within the requirements of the SLA then the end-user can claim compensation for loss of service or downtime beyond the SLA’s remit.
