Get G-Fast for ultra-speedy internet

Low-cost business broadband that works without a landline.

Ultrafast G-Fast broadband for your business

G-Fast is the new fibre on the block that’s altered the broadband landscape in the UK. It gives the fastest possible speeds on the copper infrastructure you already have. Where it’s available, it can deliver download speeds up to 330Mbps. That’s plenty for a lot of online activity and data-heavy applications. Your internet will never slow down your team again.

Without the costly installation fees you get with ethernet products, it is an affordable way to achieve lightning-fast speeds.

Broadband to supercharge your business

How does G-Fast work

What is G-Fast?

G-Fast is a fibre broadband product that delivers the fastest speeds available on the copper infrastructure.

How does it work?

It works by using the current FTTC infrastructure already installed. It takes the data along full fibre-optic cables from the internet service provider to the roadside cabinet. Then, utilising copper cables, data travels from the cabinet to your premises. However, it is at the roadside cabinet where G-Fast differs from FTTC. That’s because a unique pod is attached to the cabinet, which turbo-charges the connection – giving speeds up to four times faster than FTTC.

How G-Fast can benefit your business

Up to four times faster than FTTC

It works exactly like FTTC, but with one difference. Where FTTC can give you a superfast connection, g.fast can make it ultrafast. That’s download speeds up to four times faster than fibre to the cabinet.

Cloud-ready internet

More businesses than ever are enjoying the benefits of cloud applications. Running cloud systems can place heavy demands on your internet connection. G.fast broadband has the bandwidth needed to streamline your processes and get your team collaborating better.

Speeds up to 330Mbps

With speeds up to 330Mbps, it provides a fast enough connection for all of your business needs. That includes downloading large files, VoIP calls, video uploads and more. All while keeping costs low.

Multiple users and devices

Fast broadband can support many users and devices, so you can have multiple people using the internet simultaneously. This superfast broadband will also have your team working more productively and efficiently.

Why choose G-Fast for your business?

Ultrafast & low cost

Where it’s available, g.fast provides ultrafast speeds for a fraction of the cost of Ethernet. That makes it an ideal solution for businesses that want faster internet while keeping overheads low.

G-Fast Broadband FAQs

Will G-Fast be available in my area?

G-Fast is currently available to around 2.8 million premises in the UK. While Openreach is focussing on rolling out the fibre network, it’s not likely that G-Fast availability will increase.

That said, if your property is one of the 2.8 million, it’s unlikely that FTTP will be there any time soon. So that means GFast might be your best bet for ultrafast speeds.

Could G-Fast improve my poor FTTC connection?

Slow FTTC speeds can be influenced by many factors. Still, the most significant is the distance from the premises to the street cabinet. If you have slow FTTC speeds, it’s likely because your building is too far from the cabinet. As a result, GFast will not help.

Do I need a landline?

As a fibre broadband product, you will still need a PSTN line in order for us to deliver the circuit. We can supply a new landline if needed.

We moved our voice and data services for four remote wind farms and operations base from a well known UK supplier to SoConnect. Commercial and technical support is a breath of fresh air compared to our previous experience, and prices remain competitive. Thank you, SoConnect!
