The Business Challenge:

To provide reliable Voice and Data Connectivity Rybka’s three office sites across Scotland (Glasgow/Edinburgh/Inverness). There was a requirement for stable bandwidth for all three sites along with an easy to use, cost effective telephony solution to link the sites and enable easy contact with customers and suppliers.

The Solution:

Rybka was originally working with different providers for voice and data services at each location. SoConnect offered to implement EFM as the primary data connection with Hosted Horizon telephony for all offices resulting in one bill for all services and a single point of contact for support.

The Product:

EFM (Ethernet First Mile)is one of the next generation of high speed business internet services. The connection is tremendously resilient and cost-effective. EFM runs over bonded copper pairs, if there is a fault with one line, connectivity is retained on the others meaning up to 75% bandwidth is retained.

Telephony – Hosted Horizon:   Horizon provides an extensive range of fixed and remote telephony features via an intuitive web portal that allows administrators to easily manage the system, transfer calls, monitor inbound/outbound traffic and enable employees to optimise their productivity.

The Benefits:

Rybka now benefits from reliable, uninterrupted uptime via EFM at all three sites. The hosted Horizon service allows Rybka not only to receive high-quality inbound and outbound calls but also allows for all 3 offices to operate from the same platform. This allows for calls to be easily transferred between the offices at no cost with optional features available enabling calls recording for training and quality purposes.  Since all services are contracted with SoConnect this entails a single monthly bill with all sites supported via SoConnect’s friendly & helpful support desk.
